“On November 28, 2016, tragedy struck the town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee when a massive wildfire destroyed 2,500 structures and took the lives of 14 precious souls. Of the lives lost that night, Michael Reed lost his wife, Constance, and both of his daughters, Chloe and Lily. The five stages of grief-denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance, is not a linear process. In fact, it can feel more like a million stages interwoven and connected to every facet of a persons life.
In this book, Michael shares his personal journey through the grieving process, offering insight, guidance, and support to anyone who has ever experienced loss or trauma in their lives. He is currently obtaining a degree in behavioral sciencie with an empahsis in trauma, and hopes to use his educational and personal experiences to transform how society views grief, providing hope for the hopeless and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.“
