Return & Refund Policy

At MoonPie General Store and the Original Book Warehouse, we strive to ensure every order arrives in excellent condition. Please review our return and refund policy below.

Food Products

Due to the nature of food products, all food sales are final.

Returns and refunds are not accepted for food items unless they arrive damaged during transit.

If your food order arrives damaged:

  • Please contact the shipping carrier first to report the damage.
  • Then contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of:
    • The damaged product(s)
    • The shipping box
    • The shipping label
    • Any packaging materials
  • Claims submitted after 24 hours may not be eligible for a replacement or refund.

After reviewing your claim, we will work with you to determine the appropriate resolution.

Merchandise (Non-Food Items)

If your merchandise arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide clear photos of:

  • The damaged item
  • The shipping box (if applicable)
  • The shipping label (if applicable)

Once your claim has been reviewed, we will make every effort to send a replacement item. If a replacement is unavailable because the item is out of stock, we will issue a full refund.

Returns for Unwanted Merchandise

If you would like to return merchandise that is not damaged or defective, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unopened (if applicable), and in their original condition.
  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Refunds will be processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive damaged in transit:

  • Food products
  • Items that have been used, opened, or altered
  • Clearance or final sale items (if applicable)
